It had been a very long long day, the sky was finally getting darker by the minute. Fuyu lets out a deep sigh as he and Jester sit down onto the grass somewhere close to where the fireworks are supposed to start. The pair had been waiting all day for the fireworks, especially Fuyu, who’d rather had stayed at home until way later if it wasn’t for Jester forcing him to come with him. Fuyu doesn’t want to show Jester that he had way more fun than he thought he would, because Jester would sure say, “told you so” and smirk. He doesn’t want to give Jester that pleasure. “Thank you for taking me here today.” Fuyu says quietly, earning a smile from Jester. “Of course! This is the best place to be when the carnival is in town and I didn’t want you to miss it.” Jester explains while quietly fidgeting with the grass. A high pitched sound can be heard from the thing shooting up into the sky. “But shh now, it’s about to begin. Look up!” Jester says quickly very excited and the firework can be heard popping open in the sky right after his last word. Fuyu and Jester both stare at the sky as all the fireworks colour the sky these magnificent colours. Fuyu doesn’t think they’re as pretty as northern lights, but they do come close.
